A DREAM Audi R8 supercar was left abandoned and “rotting” for five years before its discovery and mind-blowing restoration.
The black luxury motor was uncovered outside an empty house in an epic ‘barn find’ by Rj & Brent from WD Detailing on YouTube.

Upon making the incredible find, the car-hunting duo were stunned at its condition.
“This must be where Tony Stark left his car, because we found an abandoned Audi R8 – many people’s dream car just sitting and rotting away for over five years,” said Rj in the video.
“We bought a trailer specifically for this endeavor and an enclosed trailer so we can tow it safely back to the shop.
“This is by the far the most insane barn find we’ve ever done.”
They enlisted the help of Detail Dane, run by professional detailer Dane.
In a bizarre twist, the actual Audi R8 owner arrived at the scene to check out what was happening.
Bill explained to the car removal crew how his “dream car” had been left behind collecting dust and leaves.
He said: “This used to be our house but we moved about five years ago and the new owners were kind enough to let us use it for storage.
“But then everything in life just came up and it sort of got stuck here sitting on an air ride suspension.
“It’s not installed entirely correctly and what happened was mice ate the air lines, we’ve tried bringing people out to bring it back a few times.”
Bill added: “There’s a tub for the front trunk, and the batteries under the tub, but they put a whole air ride system on top – so you can’t get to the back.
“The whole air ride system has to come out to get to the battery and the battery is so dead, you can run it on a full 200amp charge all night – and it won’t take a charge.
“This is the reason why it ultimately ended up sitting here, we couldn’t get it started to move.”
When the team attempted to shift the car it made an awful screeching sound as the tub scraped along the tarmac.
To help speed up the process they started taking apart the exterior of the vehicle to transport it to Dane’s garage.
Once it had arrived safely, they put a tender to the battery and eventually got power.
After Dane and the WD crew worked tirelessly to bring the vehicle back to life, they revealed the stunning end result to Bill.
“Wholly c**p that looks awesome, I don’t think it was this nice when we first got it. That’s amazing,” said a shocked Bill.
With a full tank of gas, the happy owner fired up the Audi R8 but smoke slowly started bellowing from the engine.
And, when Bill revved the supercar, black smoke also shot out from the exhausts.
However, overall everyone was overjoyed with the barn find and its restoration.
This comes as other car lovers have made incredible discoveries.
