A FLEET of supercars including Bentleys and Porsches have been left to rot in a car graveyard in China.

The city of Hangzhou, in the Zhejiang province, is the final resting place for the once luxurious motors after they were seized by the cops.

They have all seen better days as they have been abandoned in a wasteland, and sit there rusting away and gathering dust.

Many of the once-enviable motors now have weeds and plants covering them and it would appear that many have been there for years.

While not all the vehicles left there are top-end, among the luxury cars spotted in amongst the overgrown wasteland is an Aston Martin Vantage S Roadster, a Porsche Panamera Turbo, a Bentley Flying Spur, a Chevrolet Corvette and an Audi R8.

All have clearly seen better days.

While the exact condition of the cars is not known, on the face of it, it would seem they would all need some serious attention to get them road-worthy once more.

Over in the Philippines, the authorities take an even stricter stance and simply destroy every illegally imported car.

To emphasise the point, they even publish videos showing the process.

There’s also a supercar cemetery in Dubai, where the damaged cars are also left abandoned.

Hangzhou is also the site of a huge electric car graveyard, just one of several that have sprung up in China.

Shocking footage has emerged showing endless rows of almost identical vehicles piling up in a field in the city.

These “EV graveyards” have been seen on and off since around 2019 in at least half a dozen Chinese cities.

There are now around 100 Chinese electric car makers, down from roughly 500 in 2019, Bloomberg reports.

Local media reports claim that the government of Hangzhou had vowed to dispose of the cars, which started to accumulate in 2019.
